Sometimes life doesn’t seem to be going the way we think it should. I help people who are going through emotions and feelings such as bereavement, anxiety, depression and isolation. I’m here to help whatever you’re feeling and work with you to make it feel better.
I provide a confidential and safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings and thoughts and for you to be heard. A space where we can work together to increase your wellbeing, reduce stress and develop a better understanding of yourself. I have experience in working with palliative therapy, bereavement, depression and anxiety. I am a volunteer counsellor at MacMillan, counselling people diagnosed with cancer, their partners and families. I also volunteer at an organisation offering counselling for the elderly and people with limited mobility.I have a person-centred, humanistic approach with elements of Gestalt and Existential therapies. I studied at the University of Chichester. I offer sessions face-to-face, online or by telephone. In certain circumstances I would be happy to come to you.

What to expect – on first contact we can talk about how you’re feeling and what you would like to get from our time together. You may not know that yet but we can explore some ideas. I offer this 20 minute consultation free of charge. Then you can decide how you would like the sessions to happen – face to face, online or on the phone. We agree on a regular meeting day and time. After that I send you a straightforward working agreement for your approval.
